GMAC Awards $1.8M to Three MBA Schools

The Graduate Management Admission Council recently awarded $1.8M in grants to the following three MBA schools: Empire State College-Part of the State University of New York, the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and the University of South Florida at St. Petersburg.

This funding is for development of MBA programs and test preparation of MBA degrees. While the money will help veterans’ education, these grants are not set up to directly pay for tuition of an MBA degree. This approach is consistent with GMAC’s previous investments, which includes funding they provided Military MBA in exchange for help in developing Operation MBA several years ago. They continue to understand the value of military students and fund efforts specific to advancing the education of veterans.

The topic of MBA education for Veterans is expected to continue. Please stay in touch with us as there will be big announcements soon regarding MBA program development, including tuition funding, coming from top MBA schools.
